PaceSmith
PaceSmith is a frame pacing analyzer for game developers.
Microstutter is invisible in FPS averages. PaceSmith imports frame-time captures — paste, file, or the built-in 10-second recorder snippet — and diagnoses exactly which frames are wrong and why: a frame-time graph with jank highlighting, p1 / p50 / p99 / p99.9 percentiles, dropped/duplicate frame classification, and a ranked diagnosis engine that names the hitch family (periodic GC-style hitches, asset bursts, shader-compile spikes, half-rate vsync, 3:2 judder, thermal drift) with fix recommendations ranked by impact.
Runs 100% locally in your browser and works fully offline. Single HTML file, nothing to install.
This free demo is limited to 2,000-frame captures, has no before/after compare, and exports are watermarked.
Want unlimited captures, before/after compare, and all exporters (annotated PNG, flagged-frames CSV, markdown report)? Get PaceSmith Pro — a one-time purchase, yours forever: https://theluckyduck666.itch.io/pacesmith-pro
