LightSmith
2D lighting tool for game developers.
Light your 2D game like a cinematographer. LightSmith is a 2D lighting sandbox for game developers: place point, spot and directional lights on a 2D scene, then tune color, intensity, range and flicker. Watch real 2D shadows carve out of occluder polygons via visibility-polygon shadow casting — the same approach as Godot's occluder2D.
Import a normal map and get true normal map lighting on sprites, with per-pixel Lambert diffuse plus Blinn-Phong specular. Jump to a mood fast with built-in presets: torch dungeon, neon street, moonlit forest, and horror flicker.
This free demo runs entirely in your browser. Fully offline — it runs locally as a single HTML file.
